巨人是一个怪物，小女孩设计各种巫术，与巨人抗争，跟所有的抗争，在外人眼里都是虚幻，因为巨人根本就不存在，只是一个梦境和幻想，楼上的房间里，重病卧床的母亲，出现在影片的最后，
巨人就是小女孩，对失去亲人的恐惧，
要战胜这个巨人，巫术是没有用的，科学也是没有用的，必须接受无常，
这说明无常的的意识，在我们的教育中是多么缺失，
以至于引发了儿童的心理疾病小女孩战胜巨人的过程很勇敢，表示他接受无常的意思是很勇敢的
人生就必须，学会接受死亡
